EXPLORA UPDATE ANNOUNCEMENT :: Alpha 25.03.01

Hello , thank you for your patience regarding this project ~ ❀

EXPLORA latest  update , Alpha 25.03.01 will be released on March 1st, 2025.

This new update is content rich as this is the beginning of the full expansion from a prototype into a full fledged game, the full changelog can be found below:

CHANGELOG

• Fully revamped Game Engine , allowing smoother gameplay and faster development
• New title screen
• 3 NEW Areas : Aquario , Binario & Contencion
• Default game resolution changed from 320x240 to 640x480
• FPS cap has been increased from 30 to 60
• The Browser and Windows versions are now identical
• Doors are other interactable objects now have to be manually interacted with instead of being automatically activated when the player got close enough
  

BUGFIXES & PATCHES:

• Trying to load a save after it has been deleted will no longer allow the player to spawn on  the title screen
• Confirmation prompts will no longer force the player out of fullscreen on the Browser Version
• Fixed an animation issue on the player that happened when quickly tapping a directional key
• The ability to "Exit to Desktop" has been removed from the Browser Version
• A "Click to Play" button has been added to the Browser Version to fix an issue where no sound was playing at all

NOTES

• The 3 areas from the prototype version ( Hypertexta , Live , Notepad & Yiffura ) are not present in this version as they will be fully revamped and released in a future update.
